JONES, Glyndwr – At Bluewater Health on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 62 years of Georgina. Dear father of Glynne (Debra) Jones, Sarnia and Carole Anne (Peter) Suschnigg, Sudbury. Loving grandfather of Robin and Sara and great-grandfather of Alyssa. Glyn loved to play tennis, work on his power boat and 10 pin bowl but his main hobby was singing. He took part in several Gilbert and Sullivan productions in Wales. Glyn joined the Sarnia Bluewater Cordsmen in the early sixties acting as Director for several years. He was the founder-director of the Sarnia Seaway Sounds and the Lambton Happy Harmonizers. He was a member for many years of the Christian chorus Sursum Corda. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place at a later date. He retired from Dow Chemical in 1985 as a project engineer. Glyn loved to play tennis, work on his power boat and 10 pin bowl but his main hobby was singing - even taking part in several Gilbert and Sullivan productions in Wales. Glyn joined the Sarnia Bluewater Cordsmen in the early sixties, acting as Director for several years. He was the founder-director of the Sarnia Seaway Sounds and the Lambton Happy Harmonizers.
