PERRIE, Charles – On Monday, May 2, 2011 at Vision Nursing Home with his loving wife and friends at his side, in his 90th year.  Beloved husband of Ruth for 55 years.  Dear uncle of Michael Kerr and Jim Kerr, Charles will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many friends. Charles was retired from Sarnia Hydro.  Born in Dundee, Scotland and was in the British Navy for 13 years and emigrated to Canada in 1950.  He belonged to the Masonic Order A.F. & A.M. since 1950, member of Lambton Shrine Club in Sarnia, Mocha Shrine Center in London, and Life member of Theatre Sarnia.  He was an avid golfer and member of Sarnia Golf & Curling Club.  Everyone will miss his stories and jokes.  A memorial graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery on Wednesday, May 18th at 2 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 1529 Cedar Ave., Montreal, QC, H3G 1A6 or to Vision Nursing Home, 229 Wellington, Sarnia, ON, N7T 1G9.  Messages of condolence & memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Charles Perrie in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
