Obituary of Helen Josephine Culligan
CULLIGAN, Helen Josephine – At Bluewater Health’s Intensive Care Unit on Friday, June 3, 2011, Helen died peacefully with her husband and niece by her side at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Douglas. Loving mother of Meg Pheonix. Dear sister of Jim (Margaret) Clarke, Mary Kay, Arden (Joan) Clarke and Dorothy (Yvon) LeBlanc. Predeceased by her parents John and Marie Clarke and brother Frederick W. Clarke. Helen served as a parachute rigger with the R.C.A.F. from 1942-46. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday, June 7th from 11a.m. - 12 p.m. A celebration of Helen’s life will follow in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at 12 p.m. with The Rev. Bob Bettson officiating. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
