Obituary of Norman Howard Amy

AMY, Norman – At home on Monday, August 15, 2011, Norman died suddenly at the age of 65.  Beloved husband of Anita for 42 years.  Loving father of Teresa Amy, Cynthia (Mark) Oakley.  Proud Papa of Daniel and Jasmine Maybury and Danika and Makenna Oakley.  Dear brother of Judy, Graham (Mary Jean), Christopher and Rodger (Jean).  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Allan and Norma.  Norman retired from Ontario Hydro after many years of service and was actively involved with the Bluewater Pond Club and figure skating. Friends will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from  2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A Celebration of Norman’s life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 20th at 12 p.m. with Allan McKeown officiating.  Private interment to take place at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia, ON  N7T 4Y1 or Canadian Diabetes Association, 415 Exmouth St., Sarnia, ON  N7T 8A4.
