Obituary of Raymond Lefebvre

LEFEBVRE, Joseph “Raymond” Gilles - At Bluewater Health with his family by his side on Wednesday August 24, 2011, Raymond died peacefully at the age of 68.  Ray leaves behind his loving family including his wife of 45 years Janet (nee Toner), sons Peter (Emily) and Patrick (Cynthia) and daughter Angel (Peter). Forever cherished Papa of Noah, John, Sarah and Rachel.  He is predeceased by his parents Firmin and Willa Lefebvre and his sister Rose Lefebvre.   Survived by his brothers Roger (Nancy), Gil (Suzanne) and his sister Kathleen (Rick Fournier).  Ray will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and most supportive life-long friends Bernadette Gelinas, Steve Gelinas, Don and Cathy Ricciuto and Leo Lozier.  Ray enjoyed 30 years as the owner of Hi Neighbour Convenience Stores and for the last 14 years as the resident expert on all things kitchen at Kitchen Widgets.  His greatest joy in life was being the best Papa to his four shining stars.  Special thanks to Dr. Maddison, Dr. Dostaler and the staff of Palliative Care at Bluewater Health for their care, compassion and professionalism. Endless thanks to them all.  Private funeral arrangements are entrusted to McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
