Obituary of Elizabeth Martha Tibensky

TIBENSKY, Elizabeth Martha (nee Duriga) – Peacefully at Twin Lakes Terrace on August 28, 2011.  Elizabeth (Betka), born in Humenne, Slovakia in 1931, emigrated to Canada in 1949.  Beloved wife of Alojz (Al).  Cherished mother of Monica (and her husband Dan Murray), Catherine, and Christina.  Dear grandmother of Justin Murray.  A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Twin Lakes Terrace.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 1 p.m.  Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131.  In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed by a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton, 420 East St. N., Sarnia  N7T 6Y5. A tree will be planted in memory of Elizabeth Tibensky in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area
