Obituary of Richard William Sheehan

SHEEHAN, Richard William – Peacefully surrounded by his family at Twin Lakes Terrace, on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the age of 80. Richard is survived by Maureen (nee Ryan), children Rick (Victoria) Sheehan, Sarnia, Annie Sheehan (Gordon “Mick” McDougall), Sarnia, Kerry (Tim) Sadoquis, Sarnia, Kathleen Sheehan, West Palm Beach, Fla. and Dan (Diane) Sheehan, Sarnia, grandchildren Brooke (Ben) Bartley, Kelly and Emily Sheehan, Sam and Evan McDougall and Joe and Rosie Sadoquis, great-grandson Oscar Bartley and by sisters Madeline Sheehan, Windsor, Nancy Jones, Windsor and Ruth (Frank) Szyszykoski, Sun Lakes, Arizona.  He was predeceased by parents Francis & Marie Sheehan, brothers Frank, Bob, Harry and Bernard Sheehan and by sisters Elaine Riberdy, Beatrice Sheehan and Dorothy Prieur. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
