Obituary of Donata Lucia Ferrera

FERRERA, Donata – Surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Bluewater Health at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Gelsomino. Dear mother of the late Giuseppe. Survived by her daughter-in-law Assunta Ferrera. Loving grandmother of Domenic (Stephanie) Ferrera and Bruno (Nikole) Ferrera. Great-grandmother of Thomas, Nicholas, Joseph and Olivia. Sister of Oliviero (Tomasina) Ferrera. Sister-in-law of Clara Ferrera. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Domenico & Felicia Ferrera, sisters Ermenia DeCarolis, Giuseppa Ferrera and brother Carlo Ferrera.  Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
