Obituary of Silvestre Bento Rodrigues

RODRIGUES, Silverstre - At Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Maria Adelina (2009). Dear father of Edgardo Rodrigues, London, Alda Bento, London, Joe Rodrigues & his wife Teresa, Corunna, Maria & her husband Lino Rodrigues, Sarnia and Tony Rodrigues & his partner Tammy, Toronto. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Leslie, Robert, Fernando, Tina, Jody, Lisa, Joe, Natalie, Mark and Robert.  Great-grandfather of Jacob, Jason, Eric, Tianna, Alehia, Kayla, Nadia, Madison, Michael, Luke, Grace, Ava, Emily, Ryan, Hudson, Nolan, Ethan and Olivia. Brother of David and Antero Rodrigues, Boston and Aura Santos, Portugal. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several brothers & sisters. Silvestre was born in the Azores, Portugal and came to Sarnia with his wife and family 1968. His joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he truly loved. Silvestre was retired from the Labourers Union Local 1089. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr.
