Obituary of Dennis Edmund Bishop

BISHOP, Dennis Edmund – Peacefully, at the Queensway Carlton Hospital in Ottawa on Friday, December 23, 2011, Dennis died at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (2008) for 51 years. Loving father of Monica Bishop and her husband Vincent Winters, of London, Michael Bishop of Sarnia and Donald and his wife Tricia Bishop of Ottawa. Proud grandfather of Glen and Madison. Dear brother of Gwendolyn and her late husband Fred Leedham and Kathleen and her husband Alan Hand.  Also remembered by Remi and her husband Doug Elliott of Kingston. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Elizabeth. Dennis was a long time resident of Sarnia and prior employee of Dupont.  Special thanks to his nurse Yuhong and the other staff at Longfield's Manor in Ottawa, for their excellent care throughout his stay.  Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday, December 29th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
