Obituary of Norman Therriault

THERRIAULT, Norman – After a brief illness at Bluewater Health on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the age of 86. Loving father of Richard Therriault, Sarnia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Joseph & Marie (Rioux) Therriault, sister Bertha (Adrien) Parisien, sister Rose (Tom) Sullivan, brother Albert (Marion) Therriault, brother Fred (Lena) Therriault, sister Flo (John) Lindahl-Warnock, brother Len (Gaby) Therriault, brother Paul (Mary) Therriault, brother Ernie (Leila) Therriault and sister Melin (Lou) Skorupka. Norm worked as a process operator at Imperial Oil for over 30 years retiring in 1981. He will be sorely missed by his friends under the Blue Water Bridge. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 12 noon.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia, N7T 4Y1 or to the charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Norman Therriault in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
