MANSELL, Nancy – At Vision Nursing Home on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Lewis. Dear mother of Margaret (Jack) Wilson, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Doug (Lynn) Wilson, Thamesville, Dale (Janet) Wilson, London, David (Brenda) Wilson, Sarnia and Ken (Joanne) Wilson, Tiverton. Great-grandmother of Natalie, Erin, Graham, Emily, Lauren, Nash, Logan and Kelly. Predeceased by sister Kathleen Maskell. Nancy was a member of Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church since 1951. She was a member of the Ladies Miriam Circle and the Ladies Guild at the church. Nancy was an avid bridge player and she and her husband Lewis enjoyed lawn bowling and square dancing. Together they loved to travel and logged many miles. Loved father and father-in-law of Carmela and Phil Graham, Stefania Grasso and Arnett Woosen and Maria-Angela and Darryl Dawe. Proud and doting Nonno of Hunter, Callie and Emilia. Survived by his brother Raffaele and wife Palma, and their children Anna, Anthony, Fio and wife Michelle (Michaela and Luca), his sister Maria Grasso and his nineteen Barbato nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Fioravante and Carmela and his sister Anna-Rita Grasso.  Family and his garden were the two things he loved most. He cultivated both with principle, dedication and love. Interested in new experiences like starting a new life in Canada for his family, he had an adventurous spirit. Small pleasures were enjoyed by many at his side while fishing, playing bocce ball, card playing and walks under the bridge. His many gardens will flourish well beyond his years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 10 a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Thameswood Lodge through the London Health Sciences Centre.
