NEWMAN, Ford Etheridge – At Craigwell Gardens, Ailsa Craig on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Ferguson) for 64 years. Dear father of Jennifer (John) Stewart, Ailsa Craig and Kim Newman, Woodbridge and. Loving Grampa of Ryan Gerofsky, Liam (Jamela Austria) Gerofsky, Andrea (Adam) Juska and Nicole (George) MacGregor. Great-Grampa of Téa and Lila Gerofsky. Brother-in-law of Ruth Newman, Chatham. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Richard & Sarah Newman, brother Jack Newman and sister Ida Matheson. Ford worked as a Federal Meat Inspector at various locations, retiring in 1987. The memorial service will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1 p.m. Private family interment will take place in Dresden Cemetery at a later date.
