Talia Stokes

Obituary of Talia Stokes

STOKES, Talia Mary Rose - It is with extreme sadness we must announce the passing of our precious little girl, Talia Mary Rose Stokes at the tender age of 21 years. Loving daughter of Rod and Ann Marie Stokes, dear sister of Shea and Heather Stokes (Nee Bailey), Jared and Kari Stokes (Nee Glencross), Kail Stokes, Caitlin Stokes and fiancé Nathan Sowerbutts. Special Aunt to baby Meredith and Laylah Stokes. Beloved niece of Mary Margaret Horner (Nee Stokes), Jill Rivers (Nee Stokes), Gregory and Jean Stokes, Dale Larson, Rosemary Cooke and Paul Jacobs and Michael and Donna Cooke. Predeceased by her Aunts Mary Elizabeth Larson (Nee Cooke), Kimberly Smith (Nee Stokes) and Uncles David Rivers and Douglas Horner. Talia will be sadly missed by numerous cousins and close friends who she touched with her smile and warmth. Our little girl loved playing hockey, anything Canadian and adored animals especially her Guinea Pigs. She will be missed by her best travel buddy, her mother. Talia lived a simple life, a kind and generous soul who loved her family so much. Don't be ashamed to weep; 'tis right to grieve. Tears are only water, and flowers, trees, and fruit cannot grow without water. But there must be sunlight also. A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.
