LATAWIEC, Henry – It is with great sadness our family announces the death of Henry on Monday, August 6, 2012 at the age of 58.  Beloved husband of Jane (Whitefoot).  Loving father of Sarah (Marc) Hachey and Kevin.  Proud grandfather of Logan and Makayla.  Cherished son of Jenny (Szpak) and the late John (1998).  Dear brother of Stan (Linda), Theresa (Alain) Vignon; and brother-in-law of Bill (Carol) Whitefoot and Tim (Martha) Whitefoot.  Also loved by nieces and nephews Darryl, Paul, Christine, and Michelle.  Henry was a long time employee with the Corporation of the City of Sarnia and an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan.  Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Saturday, August 11 at 10 a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to a charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Henry Latawiec in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
