MACZKO, Elizabeth “Betty” – Suddenly at her residence on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of James. Dear mother of Ken (Dolores), Sarnia and Jamie (Kathy), Sarnia and the late Betty Ann Turner (late Dr. John Turner). Loving grandmother of Justin (Kirsten), Daniel (Aimee) and Joseph (Kristen) Turner and Sarah, James and David Maczko. Great-grandmother of Somer, Edie and Carter. Also surviving is Betty Ann’s second husband Ray Piche.  Predeceased by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Betty was a long time member of the Catholic Women’s League, a member of the Franciscan Order and the Red Hat Society. Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the C.W.L. will recite the rosary at 3:30 p.m. Parish prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Peter Keller on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church (Charlesworth at Lecaron Ave., Sarnia) at 11 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Point Edward, N7V 1A6 or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia, N7T 4Y1.
