MAHEU, Michael Gerard “Gerry” – At Bluewater Health on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Thelma. Dear father of Ann (Mike) Sleaford, Michael (Julie) Maheu and Patrick (Kim) Maheu. Loving grandfather of Kevin (Lorilee) Fex, Laura (Bob) Saunders, Chris (Jodi) Fex, Samantha Sleaford, Michael and Jeremy Maheu, Amanda (Maheu) Dowswell and Jenna Maheu and Ryan, Brent, and Sarah Maheu; great-grandfather of Zachary and Zoe Fex, Skylar and Jayla Saunders. Dear brother of Carl (Donna) Maheu, Isobel (Brad) Kelch, Mary Jane (Jim) Sekerak, Joseph (Randi) Maheu and Peter (Margaret) Maheu. Brother-in-law of Sally Maheu and Jack Lyon. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred & Dorothy Maheu, step-mother Margaret Hunter-Maheu, brothers Kevin, Richard and Wilfred Maheu and sister Virginia Lyon. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers being offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict’s Church on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
