Obituary of Blanche Sasseville

SASSEVILLE, Blanche – At Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital, Continuing Care in Petrolia on Sunday, November 18, 2012, Blanche passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 90.  Beloved mother of Denis (Julie) Sasseville, Petrolia, and Paulette Matuzich, Sarnia.  Loving grandmother of Alain (Shannon) Sasseville, Chatham, Renee (David) MacDonald, Michigan, Paul (Annie) Sasseville, Denver, Colorado, Tina (Jeff) Wiles, Windsor, and Kelly (Chris) Chartrand, Sarnia.  Great-grandmother of 13 and aunt to several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents James and Annette Dubreuil and all her brothers Clarence, Frank and Wallace Dubreuil and her sisters Beatrice Proulx, Florence Riopelle and Margaret Holtman.  The family would like to thank all the caring staff of Continuing Care for all their attentiveness, love, compassion and patience towards our mother. You are all very special.  Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday, November 20 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Wednesday, November 21 at 10 a.m.  Interment will be carried out privately after cremation at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N. Christina St., Sarnia, ON  N7T 5W3 or to a charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Blanche Sasseville in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
