Obituary of Frank Alexander Feener

FEENER, Frank A. – Suddenly at home, Frank A. Feener, 89, passed away early Monday, December 10, 2012.  Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather sadly leaves behind his wife Mary (two weeks shy of their 65th anniversary); daughters Donna Cole and Deann Murphy (Roger); grandsons Jason, Darryl (Mara) and Michael Cole, granddaughters; Jenna and Sarah Murphy; great-grandsons Matthew, Joshua and Daniel Cole; and great-granddaughter Grace Ann Cole.  Also many nieces and nephews.  Frank served with the Canadian Army, the Perth Regiment 1942-1944.  He was decorated with the 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Metal with clasp and War Medal 1939-1945.  Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday, December 14 from 9-11 a.m.  A Celebration of Frank’s life will follow in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at 11 a.m. with Fr. Jim Higgins officiating.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 546 N.
