HENNESSEY, Geraldine - Peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 with her family by her side, Geraldine Ellen Hennessey of Sarnia in her 88th year left this earth to be with her Lord.  Born January 24, 1924 in Bishops Falls, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her husbands Bernard Trainor (1948) and John Hennessey (1998). Survived by her children Bernadette Chaplin (Malcolm), Smithers, B.C., Dawn Brace, Marquita Knowles, Tom Hennessey (Sue), Lisa Hennessey (Mark Fitzgerald) and Arlene Power (Chris) all of Sarnia. Sister of Don (Muriel) Bouzane, Haileybury, Ontario. Loving Nanny to  Bryan (Karlene), Jayson (Julie), Sherry (Zack), Natasha, Jennifer, Jason (Chantal), John (Raelin), Crystal (Dean), Michael (Lauren), Ryan & Tayler, Christopher (Naomi) & Emily. Great-grandmother of Zachary & Adam, Tristan & Dharma, Alexis & Xander and Koby. Predeceased by her son Jerry Trainor (2009), her parents Stephen and Mary Bouzane of Newfoundland and brothers Albert Bouzane, Joseph Bouzane, Mary Downton, Catherine Davis and Marie Bouzane. Geraldine was a lifelong member of St Joseph's C.W.L. and St Joseph's parish in Sarnia. She will be remembered by all of her customers from Hennessey's Variety. She will be fondly remembered for her East Coast wit and sense of humour. There was always room in her heart and home for all of the strays she made welcome for a hot meal or a place to stay.  Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia  on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Raju Allumpurath at St. Joseph’s Church on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10 a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church Raise the Roof, 1011 Oak Avenue, Sarnia, N7S 1J4 or the Women’s Interval Home, P.O.
