BENACQUISTA, Maria (Fracasso) – Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bluewater Health on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Federico for 69 years. Dear mother of Emilio (Gabriella) Benacquista and Rosa Bosilo. Nonna of John Bosilo, Christina Bosilo, Cathy (Adrian) D’Angela, Laura (Justin) Benacquista and David Benacquista. Great-grandmother of Jace, Talia, Mckenna, Blake and Mateo. Loving sister of Nancy Longo. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Michele & Domenica Fracasso, sisters Rosina and Emilia and a brother Santé. Maria was a wonderful woman who enjoyed the company of her family and friends, and was always a great hostess. She will forever be remembered for her cooking, baking, knitting and her devotion to her family. Maria’s family would like to thank Dr. Sharma, Dr. Spano and the staff of Bluewater Health Continuing Chronic Care, 5th floor, for the loving care given to her. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David Butler at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
