Obituary of William Henry Perkins Lee

LEE, William H.P. - passed away peacefully, July 24, 2013 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Ontario, with family by his side. Bill (Willie) was born in Ayr, Scotland, July 14, 1930 and was a resident of Sarnia since 1995, after emigrating from Scotland in September 1981. Bill was a long time member of the Sarnia Bowling Club and also enjoyed playing pool and bocce. He is predeceased by his loving wife Helen of 56 years of marriage and his brother, Jim, of Ayr, Scotland. Bill is survived by his sister, Helen of Ayr, Scotland, his two sons, Colin and his wife Kim of London, On, and Grant (Sarnia,On). He is the cherished Grandfather of Stephanie and Michael Haley, (Sarnia, On), Morgan and Brad, (Sarnia,On) and Becky and Pat (Rockland, On) and a dear uncle to Iain and his wife Gail of Sheffield, UK. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia (519-344-3131), on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, sympathies may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Point Edward, N7V 1A5 or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, 714 London Rd., Sarnia, N7T 4Y1.
