Obituary of Wayne Thomas Watson
WATSON, Wayne Thomas – Peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, December 2, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospice, Wayne Watson died at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Charlotte. Loving father of Dennis Watson, the late Laurie Watson (2012), Jennifer Watson and Sarah Watson. Cherished papa of Josh Watson. Dear brother of Jack Watson & his wife Sylvia, DesMoines, Iowa and Bill Watson & his wife Judy, Wallaceburg. Also surviving are many extended relatives from the blended Watson, Faubert and Bouffard families. Predeceased by his first wife Carmelle Watson and many relatives from the blended families. Wayne was the founder of Char-Way Trenching. Along with his son they ran Char-Way for over 30 years. Family came first for Wayne. With his giving spirit, Wayne would help anyone who needed him. He loved to travel "road trips with the windows down". A farmer at heart, Wayne loved to work outdoors. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital and the Hospice for their compassionate care. A special thank you to Dr. Glen Maddison and Dr. Monique Dostaler for all they did for Wayne. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Kathemo Makucha at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
