MOYSEY, LEONARD – With family at his side, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on December 16, 2013, Leonard William Moysey died at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Helen Moysey (1996). Loving father of Kirby & his wife Margo, St. Albert, AB, Don & his wife Barbara, Manitouwadge, ON and Kevin & his wife Karen, Sarnia, ON. Cherished grandfather of Eric & Duncan (Kristine), Adrienne (Lloyd), Neil (Jocelyne), Christopher and Kyle and great grandfather of Madeline & Lucas. Dear brother of Gertrude Young, Elinor Grajczyk and Frank Moysey, all of Moose Jaw, SK. Also survived by brothers-in-law Joe Helferty, Hastings Purney, Sarnia and sisters-in-law Norine Helferty, Latchford Bridge, ON, Mary Helferty, Smith Falls and Edith Moysey, Moose Jaw, SK. Born in 1921 in Tuxford, Saskatchewan, Leonard enrolled in the Air Force and served during WWII ending his service in Ottawa. It was there that he met the love of his life, Helen Irene Helferty and moved to northern Quebec where he worked in the mining industry. Leonard retired and lived in Latchford Bridge before moving to Sarnia. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Latchford Bridge at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.
