Obituary of Albert Borek

BOREK, Albert – At Bluewater Health on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the age of 71. Son of the late Helena & Stanislaw Kulpis and the late Jozef Borek. Cousin of Beatta, Magda, Elzbieta of Poland. Dear friend of Krystyna Kovacs and her family Eva (Pat) Gardner, Elsbeth (Roland) Noble, Sylvia (Jason) Grant. "Uncle Albert" will be sadly missed by Emma, Sarah, Shane, Eden, Justyce, Heyden and Keyten. Also will be missed by his good friends George Subocz, Mike Chmielewski and Verna Helps. Albert lived at Afton Park Place for the past 3 years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Church on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. Friends will then be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at 2 p.m. immediately following visitation. The burial will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery at a later date.
