Obituary of John Terence McLeavey
MCLEAVEY – JOHN TERENCE "TERRY" – At University Hospital, London on Thursday, January 30, 2014, Terry McLeavey died at the age of 63. Beloved son of the late Mac & Marg McLeavey. Dear brother of Dennis McLeavey & his wife Jan, Kingston, Rhode Island and the late Pamela Riddoch & her late husband Rob. Loving uncle of Craig Westman, Megan Riddoch Stuart, Heather Riddoch, Christine McLeavey Payne and Andy McLeavey. Terry lived a wonderful retirement at the Crest Centre in London after having lived for many years at the Southwestern Regional Centre in Cedar Springs. His smile and his personality emerged again at the Crest Centre where he enjoyed barbeques and other social activities as well as music, tv, and sitting outside in the summer. Terry loved going for walks. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Sunday, February 2, 2014, 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Guliker at St. Michael's Church (Bright's Grove) on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11 a.m.. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
