JATEL, Irena – Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, March 9, 2014, Irena died at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Alfons. Dear mother of Rick (Colleen) Jatel, Sarnia, Stan Jatel, London and Mary (Rob) Bojkovsky, Sarnia. Sister of Alicia Latuszek, Poland. Predeceased by son Joseph Jatel, brother Jozef Suty and by sisters Adela Piech, Janina Tyrala and Waclawka Pytinska. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Eugene Dziedzic at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
