Obituary of Albert Adelard Lachapelle

LACHAPELLE, Albert – Peacefully with family by his side at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, Albert died at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Reina for 54 years. Loving father of Alan and his wife Sue Lachapelle, Lynn Lachapelle and Denise Lachapelle and her partner Francois Normandeau. Proud grandfather of Jessica and her husband Kainan, Rachelle, Gabriel, Nicole, and Mollie; and great-grandfather of Parker. Dear brother of Johnny (Marie Paule), Gerry (Bev); and brother-in-law of Marion, Simone and George (Collette). Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Albert was a conscientious worker and a good man who loved life. He worked as an ironworker with the Local 700 and was a member of Le Club de Gaieté. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Terence Runstedler at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday, November 6th at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
