MOORE, Leslie Ivan – Peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Doris (Pullen). Dear father of the late Michael Moore (2009) & his wife Bonnie, Linda & her husband Bill Mollitor and Dave Moore. Proud grandfather of Jamie & Sacha Moore, Jodie & Geoff Bore, Bill & Stacey Mollitor, Barrie & Christina Mollitor and David & Chareece Moore. Cherished great-grandfather of Oban and Alexandra, Riley, Jaxon and Mackenzie, Chelsea and Charlotte, Warren and Zoe. Much loved brother of Lois Gratton. Also survived by cousins Marion Simpson and Kay Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John & Josephine Moore, brothers Ken and Leo, sisters Ada, Doris, Edna and Myrtle. Les was a proud veteran of W.W. II who loved life, his family and his extended family through his affiliation at Central Baptist Church and 49 years of square dancing with various associations. His spirit will live on in the life of those who knew him and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Leslie’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 391 London Rd., Sarnia. A private interment will be held later. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N. Christina St., Sarnia, N7T 5W3.
