WASHINGTON, Vivian G. (Plain) – Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Bluewater Health – Mitton Site on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in her 75th year. Loving mother of Elizabeth Yellowman, Bonnie Plain, Lynn Washington and Tina Washington. Sister of Sharon Plain, Marion Waters and Stan Plain. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Sarah & Clarence Plain, sister Marilyn, brother Charles, daughter Debbie, son Dale and dear life long mate Fred Horrocks. Visitation will be held at St. Clair United Church (Tashmoo Ave.) on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by the Rev. Carolyn Wilson Wynne. Cremation to follow. Private interment at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131. Memorial donations to the St. Clair United Church,984 Tashmoo Ave., Aamjiwnaang First Nation, N7T 7H5.
