ZANGOLLI, AURELIA ELVIRA was called home suddenly as the result of a stroke. Elvira passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at L.H.S.C. University Campus. Beloved wife of Tony. Dear mother of Anthony & his wife Cindy, Corunna and Max & his wife Vikky, Sarnia. Loving nonna to Saxon and Benjamin and Niko and Mateo. Sister of Mario, Antonio, Emilio and Angelo Cortese and Esterina Malizia. Predeceased by sisters Annina, Luisa and Ida. Elvira loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed cooking and spending time in her garden. A great joy for her was sharing her gift in the kitchen with others. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m.. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd, Sarnia, N7T 4Y1.
