LANDRY, "Sam" Rosario - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, Rosario died peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Ivy. Loving father of Ronald (Nancy) Reid, Mississauga, Rosanne (Paul) Stevens, Corunna, Tom (Darlene) Landry, Sarnia, Peter (Margaret) Landry, Napanee, Roger (Joani) Landry, Oswego, IL. He was a proud grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Irene Lowe. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Bernard, Oscar, and Albert Landry, Juliette Cocarill, Evilene Sherk, and Irene Potter. Sam served in the R.C.A.F. from 1942-1945, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 62 and the Canadian Corps, Branch 10. He worked as a construction manager with Bechtel Corporation and retired in 1985 and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 530 Retirees. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N. on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. where a Legion Service will be held at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Friday, November 2nd at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by The Ven. Rev. Dr. Gordon J. J. Simmons. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt.
