Obituary of Gabriel Joseph Poirier

POIRIER, Gabriel Joseph – At Bluewater Health, Norman Site on Saturday, May 23, 2009, Gabriel died at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Therese (Sequin). Loving father of Donald (Sharon), Michel, Vancouver, Rene, Denise Hanna and his late infant daughter, Suzanne. Proud grandfather of Nicole, Collette, Steve, Jeff, Michelle, Natasha and the late Damien (2001); and great-grandfather. Dear brother of Alphonse, Glorianna, Rita, Alcide, Thérèse, Annette, Cécile, Yacinthe, Gemma, Roger, Blanche, Rose, Gaston, and Nicole. Predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gabriel retired from Cope Construction. A memorial service will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, May 28th at 12 p.m. and will be officiated by Fr. Terence Runstedler.
