Obituary of Olive Edna Bowers

BOWERS, Olive Edna (Monk) nee Kneeshaw – Surrounded by her family at Afton Park Place, Sarnia on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, Olive died at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Edward Bowers (2009). Loving mother of Melanie Evers (Mike Kohut), Jamie Nichols (late Wayne), Darcy Parr (Eric Kirkman) and Wes Monk (Mary Jacobs). Proud grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 9. Special aunt of Wendy and John. Also surviving are several other nieces & nephews. Predeceased by parents Isobel & Albert Kneeshaw, son Larry, daughters Marlene and Debra, brother Frank Kneeshaw, sister Kate (late Ted) McAstocker and niece Gail. At Olive's request, there will be no visitation and a private family service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
