Obituary of Marjorie Jean Kilby

KILBY, Marjorie Jean (nee Vosburg) - With loving family by her side, Marjorie died peacefully at Bluewater Health, Norman Site on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the age of 66. Beloved wife and best friend of John for 50 years. Loving mother of Suzanne and her husband Ron MacInnis, Michael and his wife Joy Kilby, and Patrick Kilby and his wife Sarah Weppner. Proud grandma of Justine, Danielle and Alyssa Kilby, and Derek, Shannon, and Kyle MacInnis. Dear sister of Doug and his wife Marielle Vosburg, Mary Vosburg, and Barry and his wife Dianne Vosburg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Vosburg. Marje will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Marjorie touched the lives of many people while she cared for them as a nurse at the Sarnia General and St. Joseph's Hospitals. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who retired from Nursing to dedicate herself to raising and caring for her family. Marjorie was instrumental to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, who both benefited from her volunteer work with them. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Mom in both Sarnia and London. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, June 21st 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Angela MacDonald. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
