ROGERS, ETHEL EVA (McALISTER) 1913-2007 Ethel Rogers died peacefully at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on Thursday, June 7, 2007 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of 47 years of the late William (1986). Loved mother of Judi O'Neill, Corunna and Lynne Wilson (Bill, 2003), Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Jennifer and John Miller, Corunna and Jeff O'Neill (Nadine), Toronto. Doting and much loved "Nana", she will be deeply missed by her great-granddaughters Lauren and Maddison Miller, Corunna. Also survived by her sister Mrs. Donna Parkhill (Ken, 2001), Oakville and sister-in-law Mrs. Norma McAlister, Mt. Pleasant as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by her parents Albert & Aleda McAlister, Mt. Pleasant, sisters Helen McLeod and Jean Clark and brother Owen McAlister. Ethel was actively involved in Central United Church, the I.O.D.E., and enjoyed many games of bridge with her good friends. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Tuesday, June 12 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Central United Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Don Lockett. Reception to follow. Private family interment Lakeview Cemetery.
