GOODHEW - At Bluewater Health - Norman Site on Friday, February 16, 2007. ELIZABETH "BETTY" THERESA (O'SHEA) GOODHEW, age 81 of Sarnia. Beloved wife of 52 years of Charles. Loving and proud mother of Gary Goodhew & his wife Helen, Sarnia. Sister of Joe O'Shea, Kenmare, Ireland, Stephen Shea, Boston, Mass. and Ann Phelan, Queen's, N.Y. Predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters with whom she had so many wonderful memories of good times. A precious aunt will be missed by many nieces & nephews who she loved dearly. Betty was a long time employee of the Olympia, Embassy and Georgian Shop Restaurants. She loved animals, especially cats and she will be missed by her 17 year old cat Molson. Betty was an avid cheerleader for all Canadian sports teams and atheletes and the Toronto Maple Leafs have lost their biggest fan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Sarnia Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St., Sarnia, N7T 7W8. Arrangements by McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 344-3131. A tree has been planted in memory of Elizabeth Goodhew in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
