PARVIN, Doreen "Steve" - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on Friday, February 9, 2007, Doreen died peacefully at the age 92. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Parvin. Loving mother of Neil Watney and his wife Joy from the Isle of Wight, England. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Peggy Barnes-Green, her sister Sheila Cook and her brother-in-law Reg Cook. Special aunt of Jill Child and her husband Bob, Felicity Raes and her husband Reg, Pru Liberty and her husband Tim. Also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Doreen will be remembered as an actor and producer with the Sarnia Little Theatre from 1976-1992. She retired from Sarnia Hydro 25 years ago and enjoyed being a member of the Strangway Centre and the North End Retirees Club. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, February 13th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt. Edward N7V 1A6 or to the charity of their choice.
