GORDON, BESSIE "BETTY" McALDIN - Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia, Betty Gordon died on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Murdoch Gordon. Loving mother of Kathy Campbell & her husband Terry. Cherished grandmother of Kristin Murphy (Leo), Sarnia & Jen Cunningham (Mark), Oakville. Proud Big Nana to Jacob & Mya Murphy and Keira & Kylie Cunningham. Dear sister of Hugh Robson (Marion), Scotland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Scotland and Austrialia. Predeceased by her parents James & Kate Robson, her brother James and her sisters Sarah, Cathie and Muriel. Betty loved to spend time with her family. She was passionate about music, singing and ballroom dancing. She sang with the Sweet Adeline Chorus group in Toronto for many years. Betty liked to travel and enjoyed her winters in Florida. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, word searches and reading. She worked for many years as an Inspector with Peek Freans. A private family service was entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
