ENGLISH, Pauline Mary (nee Johnson) - With her daughter Mary Jane by her side at Afton Park Place, Sarnia, Pauline English died on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the age of 99 3/4. Beloved wife of the late Mel English (Mel English Pharmacy). Loving and caring mother of Mary Jane English, Crystal Beach, ON and the late Kathryn Anne MacKay & her husband Barry, Huntsville. Cherished grandmother of Bradley (Rebecca) MacKay, Jonathan (Celine) MacKay, Tamara (Tom) Holloway and Blake (Gosia) Leitch. Great-grandmother of 6. Predeceased by parents Earl & Maggie Johnson and by her sister Kathryn Dalton. Pauline trained as a registered nurse at Sarnia General Hospital and nursed there for several years. She and her husband Mel were married for 45 wonderful years. As per Pauline's wishes cremation has taken place and a family graveside ceremony will be held in the near future. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may send memorial donations to the College of Nurses of Ontario, 101 Davenport Rd, Toronto, M5R 3P1.
