GIBB, Mabel Joanne (nee Brown) - Died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in the 90th year. Beloved "Wifey" for 64 years to Robert "Bob" Gibb who predeceased her in November, 2012. Joanne was the heart of her family. Dearest mother of Wendy Gibb, Rob (Sue) Gibb and Terry (Randy) Collins. Cherished "Gram" of Robby Gibb (Cindy & Ava), Jeff Gibb (Nikki), Carley Gibb, Chris Collins (Jody) and Stacey Seward (Chris). She was the wonderful great-grandma of Greyson Robert Gibb and Penny Joanne Gibb. Joanne is also survived by her dear brother Jim Brown (Doris). Aunt Joanne was a loving part of the lives of her nieces and nephews; Susan (Peter) Pearson, Mary Ann (George) Bracewell, Ruthie (John) Mattingly, Michael (Kathy) Brown and Ric Brown. She will also be fondly remembered by her many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Newton & Mabel Brown, her brothers Bill & Terry and her sister-in-law Ruth Brown. To know Joanne was to love her. She will be deeply missed by all. At Joanne's request, there will be no visitation or formal funeral. Her family will gather to celebrate her life at a later date.
