Obituary of "Kitty" Mary Catherine Gagnon

GAGNON, "Kitty" Mary Catherine – With family by her side at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, on Sunday, July 6, 2014, Kitty died peacefully while being cared for by her Trillium family whom she came to know and love over the last eleven years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Gagnon (1993). Loving mother of Ron (Judy) Gagnon and Jane (Jim) D'Arcy. Proud grandmother of Jennifer Siklosi (Christopher Healey), Benson (Tanya) Siklosi and Adam Siklosi (Mel Patakfalvi); Derek D'Arcy (Ashley Moore), Brandon D'Arcy (Krista Vervaecke) and Monique D'Arcy (Brock McFadyen); and great-grandmother of Ryleigh, Patrick, Reina, Keira, Braydon, Cole, Wyatt, Logan, Austin and Chloe. Kitty was a founding member of St. Benedict's Church, a choir member and an active member of the CWL for 64 years. Kitty devoted much of her life as a Franciscan and enjoyed many years of both square and line dancing. She will be sadly missed, yet fondly remembered by her family and friends. Sincere appreciation is extended to all the staff at Trillium Villa for their love and care of Kitty and our family. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, July 9th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Prayers will be offered by her Franciscan family at 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Joseph's Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
