DE SENA, Terenzio – Peacefully surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of 49 years to Lidorina (Iacobelli). Dear father of Luisa (Mark) Buscema, Francesco (Lisa) De Sena, Maria (Jerry) Recchia and the late Marcello De Sena (1971) all of Sarnia. Loving nonno of Karah and Jessica Buscema, Joseph, Eric and Lauren De Sena and Daniel and Julia Recchia. Brother of Irma (Giacomo) Persichetti, Sarnia and Germena (Attilio) Mollicone, Windsor. Brother-in-law of Nancy De Sena, Sarnia and Gisele De Sena, Bright's Grove. Also surviving are many dear nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Francesco & Luisa De Sena and brothers Olindo and Ennio De Sena. Terenzio will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose life was guided by his deep faith. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. At Terenzio's request, in lieu of flowers, please consider sending a pre-packed basket of non-perishable food items to the funeral home to be distributed to The Inn of the Good Shepherd following the funeral.
