BANVILLE, Lucien R. – Surrounded by family at Bluewater Health on Friday, October 10, 2014, Lucien Banville died at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Emelda Banville and Yvette Banville. Loving father Ronald Banville (Dawn) and the late Norman Banville (2009) (Cathy). Dear step-father of Claude Pelchat (Pierriette), Denis Dugas (Andre), Danielle Whiting (Mark), Jacque Pelchat (Monique and Richard Pelchat. Proud grandfather of and great-grandfather of many. Brother of Margaret Guindon and brother-in-law of Agathe Gagnon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marie & Frederick Banville, brothers Roger & Wilfred and sisteres Lillian Roch, Evette Marcoux, Marie Beth Dubuis and Ginnette St. Louis. Lucien was an honorable man who will be missed by all. The family would like to thank all the staff at Vision Nursing Home for their love, kindness and care that they gave Lucien over the years. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Kathemo Makucha at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
