Obituary of Jean Heather Du Domaine

du DOMAINE, JEAN - Surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's Hospice, Jean du Domaine died on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Peter du Domaine. Loving mother of Teresa, Jane (Greg) and Michael (Lise). Cherished grandmother of Christian, Christopher, Nicholas, Peter, Dennis and Ashley. Great-grandmother of Gavin, Connor and Devin. Dear sister of Mary (late Bob) Leitz and Charlotte (Bill) Bridge. Jean will also be sadly missed by her furry friends Bear, Odie, Chaz, Peanut, Lacoata, Ginger, Max and Sam. Not only was Jean a long time member of the O.L.M. choir, she lent her voice to others, singing at weddings, funerals and special occasions. She was tickled pink to attend Joel Osteen's "Night of Hope" in Toronto in 2013. Jean loved to play bingo with her friends at Bingo Country, who treated her like a queen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Joseph's Church on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
