FRYDRYCH, Walter – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, December 23, 2012, Walter died at the age of 85.  Beloved husband of Paula.  Loving father of Raymond (Lynn) Frydrych, Daniel (Jill) Frydrych, Joe (Carolyn) Stonehouse, Stephen Stonehouse, and Melissa (John) Horkits.  Proud grandfather of Kristy, Sam, Carson, Curtis, Beau, Brett, Ben, Tyler, Nathan, Joshua, and Katie.  Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters.  Walter was a survivor of WWII and proudly belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 62, the Polish Combatants Association, Branch 11, and the Polish Alliance, Branch 14.  He was also an active member of Queen of Peace Church.  Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Waclaw Chudy at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Friday, December 28th at 9 a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Poppy Fund, c/o The Royal Canadian Legion, 286 Front St., Sarnia, ON  N7T 5S7 or St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N.
