STUCIN, EMILIJA (nee Gaspar) – Surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 17, 2013 Emilija "Milka" Stucin died at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Anton "Tony" Stucin. Loving mother of Mary Stucin and her husband Ahmet Pekediz, London. Loved by her grandson Adem. Dear sister of Karl Gaspar, Ana Gaspar, Marija Osojnik and Helena Biteznik all of Slovenia, Kolman Gaspar of Switzerland. Cherished godmother (Botra) of Julie, Frank & Joe Matus. Fondly remembered by Ana Matus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Slovenia and in Switzerland. Predeceased by parents Marija & Viljem Gaspar and brother Ernest Gaspar. Emilija loved her family dearly; her grandson Adem was the light of her life. She had a large circle of friends whom she held close to her heart but her "best friend" was her car in which she could be found cruising the streets of Sarnia, with a smile on her face and the polka music playing. Two visitations will be held. Friends will be received at the JOHN T. DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 362 Waterloo St., London ON, 7-9 p.m. Thursday and also received at the MCKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia 9:30- 10:30 a.m. Saturday August 24th. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 24th at 11 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
