ANDERSON, Marion Georgiana (Rigsby) – At Trillium Villa on Saturday, August 24, 2013, Marion passed away at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late David. Dear mother of Thomas (Kim) Anderson, Sarnia and Catharine (Steven) Ashikawa, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Grant (Keri) Anderson, Lindsay (Patrick) Wilson, Michael, Stephen and Emily Anderson. Great-grandmother of Daefyd, George, Lorelei Wilson and Matthew Anderson. Predeceased by an infant daughter and parents Robert Walter & Bernice Rigsby. Marion was a Founder and Charter Member of the Lieut. J.D. Wright I.O.D.E. and a Charter Member of the United Church Women at Central United Church. Marion was very proud to be active in the London Conference Presbyterial of which she was past president. The family would like to thank the staff of Trillium Villa for their wonderful care of Marion for the past 3 years. A service to celebrate Marion’s life will be held at Central United Church on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Christine Jerrett officiating. A family committal service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Mission and Service Fund, Central United Church, 220 George St., Sarnia, N7T 4N9.
