ROCCA, ANTONIA MARIA – At Bluewater Health, Sarnia, surrounded by her family Antonia Rocca died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Pompilio for 64 years. Loving mother of the late Enzo (2006) & his wife Donna, Miller Lake, Fernando & his wife Catherine, Sarnia and Dino & his wife Joan, Sudbury. Proud Nonna of Nicole Rocca, Meaghan Harder (Grant), Michael Rocca (Cassie), Caitlin Rocca, Courtney Rocca (Brent), Kristin Rocca and Patrick Rocca. Dear sister of Dora Maola (late Agostino), Letizia Guerra (Pio) and Colomba Ferrera (late Domenic). Sadly missed by her cherished cat Maggie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Donata & Annibale D'Andrea, brother Rocco & his wife Maria D'Andrea, In-laws Felice & Nicola Rocca, brothers-in-law Pietro & his wife Maria Rocca and Domenico Rocca & his wife Onoria. She was a committed and proud 50+ year member of the CWL. She was co-owner of Roma Pizza with her sister Colomba for many years. As the matriarch of her family, she was well respected and valued. Antonia's greatest passions in life were faith, family and food. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday Nov. 25th from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered Tuesday at 2p.m. and Rosary will be offered at 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to The Inn of the Good Shepherd, 115 John St., Sarnia, N7T 2R1.
