BOULET, ALEXANDER BENJAMIN – Surrounded by his family at Afton Park Place, Sarnia on Thursday, January 02, 2014, Alexander Boulet died at the age of 89. Loving father of Tammi Thompson, Port Huron, MI, Stacey Blake, London, ON and Bradley Boulet (Michelle), Clawson, MI. Step-father to Jon "Reg" Kulmatycky (Betty), Burgessville, ON. Cherished grandfather of Shelby & Sabrina Thompson, Caitlin & Carter Blake, and step-grandfather of Jeff & Meagan Haw. Dear brother of Robert Boulet, Grande Prairie, and Margaret Cote, Winnipeg. Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Emma Boulet, brothers Elzear "Ed", Michel, Leon and Louis and sisters Philomene Boulet and Theresa Buisson. Retired Gunner, Alexander Boulet served with the 15th Field Regiment, 4th Armoured Division of the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery during WWII. He was a proud member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 05-062. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, 2 – 3 p.m Saturday, January 11, 2014. A memorial Service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following visitation at 3 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins. Interment Beechwood cemetery, Ottawa. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 62 Poppy Fund. 286 Front Street, Sarnia, N7T 5S7.
